About Jim
Jim Raffone is the Founder and CEO of JAR of Hope, a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and funding research for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. What began as a father’s mission to save his son, Jamesy, has grown into a movement of hope, action, and relentless advocacy that now reaches families across the country and around the world.
Since launching JAR of Hope in 2013, Jim has led the organization through groundbreaking fundraising campaigns, endurance events, and national partnerships that have raised millions of dollars for research and patient support. Whether running ultra-marathons across deserts, completing extreme physical challenges, or speaking on major platforms, Jim is known for doing whatever it takes to push the mission forward.
Beyond his work with JAR of Hope, Jim is a dynamic community leader, entrepreneur, and connector. He believes deeply in the power of relationships, collaboration, and showing up for others — values that align strongly with the mission of LeTip of Brick.
Jim brings passion, integrity, and decades of leadership experience to every room he enters. His goal within LeTip of Brick is simple: build authentic relationships, support fellow members, and continue expanding the network of hope that fuels JAR of Hope’s impact.
